I have this book, Drape drape in my collection and have made it in light cotton jersey. Have also seen it made in drapey rayon which I think looks better as it is less clingy.

I wanted some baggy but not daggy pants, a bit like ones I made in the 80s, so downloaded this Burda pattern (#114, 2/2012) to adapt. I will add cuffs from another pattern and make pleats at hem as shown in my very rough sketch. Also thought I would stitch down pleats a bit. This pattern could also be adapted in other ways, eg by adding waistband or yoke.
